Kabir olasunkanmi is my name but my stage name is Ola diamond, my production name is kabir olasunkanmi films productions. I graduated from Lagos state University, where I study banking&finance , I am a native of ogun state (abeokuta precisely) born and brought up in lagos. I am the 4th child in a family of 6, and 2nd male child and I'm the last male child of my mother. I resides in lagos state , I once model for model modela agency in 2004/05, I have passion for entertainment industry, as a model I stilll want to do more in this industry, that was what pushed me into movie, I love my profession because I know I am good at character interpretation and I'm always happy whenever am at work (location). if am to discuss about what prompted me to this job, I will say it was the passion I have for the job, and i was fortunate to come about a yoruba film producer whose name is olayinka oladele (aka yinka eruku) who is now my boss. I did a four years theatre-art course under his school '' destiny child theatre-art school '' and graduated formally on may 25th 2013, at alhaji yinka quadri's house in ikorodu with 3 other colleagues. Ever since then,I have been working hard to find my way to the top. As a professional actor, I do give me best in any location. In year 2014,i had my 1st movie production titled ''iseju kan''. A film that feature the likes of Top actors as, Alhaji yinka quadri, Yomi gold,Bigval jokotoye, Mide.f Martins abiodun,Yomi fabiyi,Ladi folorin,olakunle shodunke,myself and many more.

How did your parent react to your choice of work when u told them you wanted to become an actor?

Well,i lost my mum in the year 2003, and I have been leaving without my father since I passed-out from secondary school till date, this gives me the privilege to have my total freedom of choice.

The only obstacles I had with my choice of work was with my (ex girlfriends). They always want me to quit the job,but I prefer they go than not achieve my purpose in life, I've suffered enough on this struggle so,an alien will not come today and want me quit for selfish reasons, i can give my life to a woman who is supportive to my career and ambitions

How was your first experience like facing the camera?

My First experience standing in front of a camera was full of confidence, I was fully prepared because of the Lasu Aluta spirit in me then (lolzz) but when I backed the camera while on stage and also committed some blunders as a novice, the crew started shouting at me and some were just making jest of me, this was even one of the reason that prompted me to obtain a theatre-art form under my present boss then.

As an actor that is handsome and cute, how do you relate with your female fans?

I do give maximum respect to my female fans who show some love to appreciate my job, and also, any other interest from my female fans, that is not in line with my work is different, although I haven't seen any of my female friends show any appreciation aside on my work. also if it happens I have to approach that wisely because it take the braves alone to express inner feelings to an opposite sex. Though i'm still single,but that doesn't warrant me to get-down with every female that comes my way. But will be married when it's time for that.

Some people's notion is that actors and actress used to sleep with each other both in location and outside, what did you have to say on such notion?

Hmmm,(lolzz) well,to the notion.....i concur, and I can also disagree , why I said I agree and as well disagree Is because it's not a false news or impression about some actors/actresses but the bitter truth is that, it's not everybody in the industry that does that, some reporters won't report the actual scenario instead they prefer to add to the story so as to sell their news, but in some cases it's real. And that's why I said I agree with such notion. Like the yoruba proverbs which says ''inu mi ni mo mon,mio mon tenikejimi''

We learnt some actors won't even collect a script from you without you paying millions. So what is your charges rate per movie?

My charges for a movie is not stable yet. It takes the people in the industry alone to understand this because been an upcoming actor,you still need more opportunities (more movie to feature) to showcase your talent to the world, And by so doing, you will one day have your own price-tag for your service(s) So for now,one needs to be progressive, rather than been conscious of money.

What are your advice for people that wanted to be an actor but doesn't have the opportunity?

My utmost advise to those who have the plan or ambition to become an artist is that they shouldn't loose hope, they should be focused and determined.
