IPMAN to flood market with petrol

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN) has made arrangement to flood the market with enough supply of premium motor spirit, Ripples has learnt.
Giving this hint on Thursday was its president, Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo. He spoke in Abuja.
According to him, the recent scarcity of products was as a result of the regulated regime where only those approved by government imported and sold petrol.
Okoronkwo said in recent times NNPC was the sole importer of the petrol and the situation became a serious burden on the operation of the corporation.
“A regulated business regime anywhere in the world does not thrive. Business is for private sector, they have the investment and zeal to bring competition and operate successfully.”
He condemned the recent strike action by the labour unions, wondering for how long Nigerians will continue to be subjected to hardship as a result of strike that ended up without any tangible result.
He urged the Labour movement to support the new administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to sanitise the downstream oil sector.
