POLICE BRUTALIZE AND INJURED A MAN AND OTHERS AT IRAWO ALONG IKORODU ROAD.

 

The report we got this morning regards the illegal operation of the men in black along Ikorodu road by Thomas bus stop is quite Alarming and disheartening. 

At exactly 05:10am on 21st of July. 2023, police at Thomas bus stop beside a police post at that same Thomas while on illegal duty brutalized a man and also also harrassed some ladies on their way inward Ikorodu area of Lagos state..

Excerpt from his story: 

Early this morning around 5:10am.

 I and my friend took a car from ojota to ikorodu, on getting to irawo before Thomas bus stop, some police men where doing stop and search on vehicles.

Our car was stopped and all the passenger had to come down for searching. On getting down one of the police man walked up to my friend for searching and he politely ask him to let him see his hand before searching, the next thing I heard was a slap on my friend face and he immediately started rough handling him, he collected my own phone and smashed it on the floor.

He went to the next car,  there were 3 girls in that car, I don't know what he was dragging again with those girls and I heard a sound which shows that he slapped one of the ladies too, I was just telling my friend  that, 

"Gabriel he has slapped those girls too" and the  he came back to me  again and started hitting me with the stick he was holding which gave me a deep cut on my head and started bleeding seriously.

After listening to him, I felt the inspector general of Nigeria police force and the Lagos State Commissioner of police need to attend to this serious and grievous allegations before it get out of hands.

We can't have a police force which are meant to protect lives and properties as a criminal in uniform.

He further said, the DPO of the police post is aware, he attended to them and he promised that justice will be served. It's already two days and same police officers are still seen on that same spot.  

 

nd justice needs to be served and those culprits should face the consequences of their actions.
