_25 October 2017_ A Nigerian man based in South Africa says he does not regret buying a luxury Mercedes-Benz G-class to a South African man as a token to apologise for impregnating his wife. “I know what I did is wrong but I feel better he has accepted my gift. He accepted that his wife, my girlfriend, is pregnant and will soon give birth to my son. He was angry at first but when I presented the car to him his anger vanished,” said the man who identified herself as John. NGO advises Nigerians on regular medical check up in Akure Ondo state.

A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has advised Nigerians to do regular exercise and medical check-up in order to prevent deadly non-communicable diseases. Miss Ifedoyin Olatunbosun, the Coordinator, Ifedoyin and Friends Charity Organisation, gave this advice on Saturday in Akure after a Charity Health Walk, tagged: “No to High Blood Pressure and Diabetes”. Olatunbosun said a lifestyle of regular exercise and medical check-up was important, no matter the kind of undertaking or occupation one was engaged in. According to her, the group organised the walk to sensitise the public on the need to live a healthy lifestyle due to the high prevalence of sudden death arising from stroke, hypertension, diabetes among others. Lola Margaret Oladipupo is allegedly cooling off in an Atlanta, Georgia, jail after she was arrested for card fraud. According to  Information Nigeria , Lola was arrested weeks after attempting to withdraw suspicious sums from her account.  Instablog9ja added that Lola had been making the suspicious withdrawals for a while now, until the police whisked her after a last attempt. Sources close to the actress alleged that the Lola was initially released on condition that reveals the identities of the characters she was working with on the illegal withdrawals, and she did. However, the police later returned to take her in for further interrogations, and she has been in their custody ever since. Three persons were killed in a fresh attack by members of notorious cult group, Badoo. According to reports, the fresh attack took place inside the Crystal Church of Christ (C&S) Aladura at no 4, Victor Anibaba Street, Owode Weigh Bridge, along Ikorodu road last night. The cult members reportedly attacked the wife of the founder of the church, Mrs. Ajidara, her two-year old daughter and another woman who lived in the church with her daughter.
